The word Chakra is derived from a Sanskrit word Cakra, which means "wheel". It was first mentioned in ancient Hindu texts dated back to 5-700 BCE. Many cultures through history, including Egyptians, Asians, Greeks, Native American, Mayans, and many more have all known these energy sources within the body. Chakras are energy sources or "wheels" that exist within each living person and can be viewed as a spiritual bloodstream.
There are 7 major Chakras within the body. Each Chakra is responsible for specific organs, glands, physical functions, and physical dysfunctions. In addition, each Chakra is responsible for emotional, mental, and physical issues. When Chakras are in balance; the emotional, mental, and physcal state will be in harmony. When ther are imbalances within the Chakras, one may experience emotional distress and/or physical disease. As more knowledge becomes accessible, many are turning to Chakra healing to rid their bodies of emotional distress and physical disease. Many have turned to Acupuncture, Meditation, Reike, Yoga, or other modalities to heal or maintain their energy.
Chakra healing is not an outside job. Healing is an inside job and begins with self. Be patient with yourself. Healing is a process and transformation requires compassion and patience.
Chakra healing is not associated with a specific religion. As Chakra healing continues to expand, it is now embraced by many people from different walks of life. Chakra healing can be used in conjunction with religion, current medical regimens, and other practices. Please see out Disclaimer for more information.
Chakra healing is not a form of demonic or dark rituals. When Chakra healing is done correctly; it will infuse light, awareness, and consciousness into the body, heart, mind, and spirit. Thus, dispelling darkness.
